why? because the microtronix nios ii linux distribution (v1.4) has been updated to support the nios ii 5.0 ide and quartus 5.0.
the problem is that the family device stratix gx in the sobcbuilder 5.0 is not supported. so i have to use the quartus 5.1 and nios ii 5.1, both are not supported by the microtronix nios ii linux distribution (v1.4).
i hope you understand my problem.
if you have a solution...
(i think to use ecos if it is impossible for me to do that with uclinux.

--- Quote End --- We know there are a lot of problems with Microtronix Nios II Linux Distribution (v1.4) on IDE. That's why I suggest you follow the buildroot guide. It is a different approach, which can be used with all Quartus II and Nios II version. It is very easy to use and customize. Many people on the forum have successed by following the buildroot guide.
