SDR MemoryController

Hi

I want to use the SDR DRAM controller that comes with SOPC builder. It also requires an Avalon master. Is all of this ip required free? Is it time limited? If this is not free then can you suggest the best way of implementing a SDR controller?

    Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the SDR SDRAM core is licensed anymore. If you've got quartus and sopc builder then you've got the core. As far as an avalon master goes ... You would be the one writing the master component so yeah it's free.
