Media-Independent Interface entry

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing good, so I'am trying to transmit data via an ethernet cable, I already have an RGMII IP, and my question is simple : should I send a full ethernet Frame as its entry with an Ethernet mac source/destination, type, data and CRC, is that enough ? Also if you know any good documentation I should check, thank you in advance.
