Issues programming encryption (.EKP) file to FPGA

Hi

Is there a way to check whether or not an FPGA has had it encryption key programmed into the device?

Maybe it can send a message to Quartus or set an output pin as a flag for example.

This would be useful because I'm struggling to program encryption keys into a batch of FPGA and just need to confirm there's no key already programmed.

FPGA is Stratix II EP2SGX30 and I'm using an Ethernet Blaster II.

Any help appreciated, thanks.
