how to do if there is no templates

hello everybody:

when I open the nios , and want to set a new c/c++ application , the template column is empty , I dont know how to solve the problem . if somebody know . tell me thanks a million.

    Maybe you didn't select "New NIOS C/C++ application" in the menu because you don't have it because you don't work in the "nios perpective".

    Select this at the bottom left on nios II IDE.

    thank you first , but I can not find the "nios perpective" item in the left bottom of nios ide. my version is 7.1, may there be some difference with your version??

    You also get it in : Window menu -> open perspective -> NIOS II C/C++

    Then, you can make new nios II C/C++ application.
