DDR3 Write Leveling

If I have "Quick Calibration" selected when I create an instance of the DDR3 HP Controller with Quartus 8.0, should I expect to see it go into write-leveling mode when I sim it in Modelsim? Everythi...

But the full calibration mode can not be done with memory model provided by altera, correct? Does this mean I can only do it with a manufacturer-provided model? Thanks for the feedback.
