Where is SOPC in Quartus II 14.0

Hi There,

Just wondering where is the SOPC builder in Quartus II 14.0? Does Altera have given up support for this?

Alternatively, How can I open .sopc from QSys in 14.0? I feel Altera has abandoned SOPC ..

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

I'm also using 14.0 SOPC builder has been upgraded to Qsys. You can open your normal .sopc project and Qsys would convert it into a Qsys project.

Just another note, there is no more Megafunction wizard in 14.0 It is renamed as IP catalog. To access it, go to Tools->IP catalog
