Below are the FIT and MTBF for EM21XX products, for various Use temperature (Tj):

Use temperature Tj = 15C, FIT = 1.1 FIT / MTBF = 103777 years

Use temperature Tj = 40C, FIT = 10.8 FIT / MTBF = 10570 years

Use temperature Tj = 65C, FIT = 73.8 FIT / MTBF = 1547 years

Use temperature Tj = 80C, FIT = 204.9 FIT / MTBF = 557 years

Assumptions used for FIT and MTBF calculations: 60% Confidence level; Ea = 0.7eV; Failure rate & MTBF are constant

** Please note that the FIT and MTBF will continue to improve with increasing reliability testing sample size.
