what are the sld_xxx.vhd files

Hi,

I tried to re-compile an archived project. but there are some encrypted .vhd files that are give me errors. Those files are called sld_xxx.vhd. It seems to me that they were generated by the Quartus tool.

my question is what are they for? can I remove them?

    These are encrypted libraries related to virtual JTAG. They can be removed from project archives, because Quartus should use the version from the present library folder. They can't be user modified anyway. I think, it's a Quartus fault to copy any of these library files to a project archive.
