weird prints obtained after loading bit file on FPGA

while trying to execute bit file in intel FPGA , the prints are displayed with some special characters in console terminal. What could be the issue?

Ideally, data_2 = 0x1024 should be printed in successive 14 times. But it is printing some special characters.

    1- How do you execute the bit file?

    2- Are you using Quartus?

    3- Have you compile your design? Any error shown?

    4- What is the device OPN?

    Hi,
    Thank you for responding.

    1- After build of the software application project files, .elf file is created. Application project -> Run As -> NiosII Hardware.

    2- yes

    3- Yes I did compile. No errors are obtained in both design and software files.

    4- Operation is to perform data integrity test. I am just writing same data at different offset and trying to read it back.
