Honored Contributorthanks rsefton for your reply , but actually i am setting the auto negotiation and beside that am using a straight cable , but i figured out that the problem is with the hub port speed which is 100 M and i am using the core variation ethernet 10/100/1000, but it doesn't work at 100M
so when i switched the core variation to be small MAC (ethernet 10/100) it worked through the hub as i need but didn't work if i connect the cable directly from eth0 to eth1 !!!, but that configuration is more suitable for me to be able to debug the problem i am facing now that i can't receive any packets from the laptop to the board , the phy chip receive the packet but i think it discard it as the destination mac address is not as the one assigned , but i set the promis_en bit in the conf register but still the frame is discarded can you help me solving this issue thanks in advance
