8 years agoWhile you can crank up the frequency using PLL's, you still have to take care your of your propagation delays and what not. If you're ever bringing the clock outside, make sure you're not getting interference / causing interference. While you might be able to get a 100mhz signal out, that doesn't necessary mean it's going to be able to drive an external component at that frequency, if that makes sense.
