Using EPCQ4A device in AS configuration with EP3C16 Cyclone 3. Use Quartus 12.1 & USB Blaster. System throws the error Can't Recognize Silicon ID for device 1. I also generated new .pof file using .cof files to disable ID checks. No improvement! Stuck!

Question

I used to use EPCS devices and that is the support I have available on mys Quartus 12.1 software. This is the first time I have used an EPCQ4A device. There must be  a standard solution to this problem. Please point in me its direction.

Hi UMall1,Thank you for contacting Intel community.There might be unsupported IP or Quartus (Old version) for this issue since you are using EPCQA.
