New ContributorUSB Blaster issues
I bought one of those same inexpensive clones on Amazon. Never got it to work.
I have used a TerAsic USB Blaster clone since then, have never had any issues using it on any version of Quartus, starting 13.0sp1.

Frequent ContributorWhat type of USB Blaster are you using? Is it a cheap 3rd party clone? Or a certified compliant USB Blaster?

From TerAsic, maker of many Altera development boards. Never had a problem with it with any Quartus version 13.0sp1 or later.
