Occasional ContributorTrouble Installing Stratix 10 Device in Quartus Prime Pro 18.1
I have been trying to install the Stratix 10 Device into Quartus Prime Pro v18.1 and keep running into the same issue (error message attached). I am using the following files downloaded from the quartus website:
- stratix10-18.1.0.222.qdz
- QuartusProSetup-18.1.2.277-windows.exe
- QuartusProSetup-18.1.0.222-windows.exe
I ran both the Quartus Installer and the Device Installer as administrator. Both installers display the same error message when trying to install the Stratix 10. I have successfully installed the Aria 10 into Quartus Prime Pro. Re-downloading the Stratix 10 QDZ file did not help the problem.

Hi,
I was able to install stratix10-18.1.0.222.exe for Quartus 18.1 pro in windows 10 environment.
Try by reinstalling quartus and device.

- DZuck1I will try that. Is it possible there is a conflict with the fact I also have Quartus Prime Standard 17.0.0.595 and 18.1.0.625 installed?

Hi,
No , I have quartus version 17.0,17.1,18.0 & 18.1 with sdt and pro edition installed. i have not faced any issues.
Let me know if reinstalling has helped resolve the issue or if you need any further assistance.

It turns out that my corporate IT was stopping all downloads at 10 GB. I downloaded it at home and got the full 15 GB file. It now installs without issue.
