there is no .sof file after compilation

I encounter a very strange problem. The project didn't produce the .sof file after the full compilation. What's happened ??

    If Quartus is run in demo mode (without a valid license), it doesn't generate programming files. But you get a message about it.

    I used 30 days evaluation for the subscription version. and this is my first day, what's going on?

    I even needed to compile first before I can see my pins are arranged by pin planner

    I had a similar problem with Quartus II 10 no SP and the Cyclone IV in F23 case. If you are working in this way you should update your software to SP1 at first.
