Strange FPGA marking code

We use a EP3C120F780C7N FPGA in many boards but some of them come to us with a FPGA with the code EP3C120F780C7AD, do you know what the AD at the end of the code means?,

Thanks

  • Hi,

Thank you for contacting Intel community.

Please note that the device part number - EP3C120F780C7AD ended with the additional suffix 'AD' is referring to customer specific ordering suffix, the material that builds directly for some specific customer request. These are added to the device part number when a device has under gone additional qualification upon request.

    Regards,

    Aiman
