Storing and retrieving Data from DE2 board

Hi ALL,

I am implementing a project in which bit confused about some points. I have used image conversion tool available in DE2 board CD to convert bitmap picture into raw data. now i want to save this raw data in the memory of DE2 board. After storing raw data when i again put the same picture the memory should recognize that picture whether its the same or not by comparing and if same logic 1 will be given at GPIO.

Now i want to ask which memory should i use SRAM,SDRAM,on chip memory,FLASH or external. secondly to do this on real time if an image is captured by camera how that image will be compared with the stored one.

Please help me to get rid of this problem.
