Signal Tap killing Compile

I instered a .stp file in my design and now whenever I compile the design I get the following error: Error: datain port of HSDI receiver atom "rx_0" must be fed by input pin that does not feed...

sounds like you are trying to STP a GX SERDES input line, which isn't possible
