SD card interface 4-bit

Hello is possible to have an SD 4-bit interface for De2 -115. Because on the user manual is written that DE2-115 SPI and 4-bit interface. Thanks.

    As far as I know it is possible, but the 4bit interface is increadibly difficult. I know SPI is easier.

    The nibble wide interface is licensed, thus is primarily the domain of corporations prepared to pay for the right to use it. It's difficult to get the information about it - although not necessarily difficult to code.

    I agree with Pieter - SPI is far easier and there is enough information readily available to help you implement it.
