RTL Simulation error

Hi while simulating my ecample code I am getting error

# ** Error: Failure to obtain a Verilog simulation license. Unable to checkout any of these license features: alteramtivsim or alteramtivlog.

but my altera is working fine and I have a valid license

    Hi can you try to do a clean install of Quartus with ModelSim intel FPGA and see whether it works? Also, which Quartus version and ModelSim version are you using currently?
