Quartus Web Edition Restrictions

Hello!

I wondered, what a restrictions of web edition software except of those written out in the comparison pdf page in altera web site.

When I try to program my device I receive message that says that web edition can't program device. Can I program any device with web edition?

    The answer is NO, It is written in detailed restrictions.

    But maybe you want to program with a .pof file with nios ii component without NIOS II lisence. Or with other unlicensed/evaluation IP.

    I think Nios II/e is provided free (with Quartus II 9.1 only) while Nios II/f, Nios II/s need license.
