has anyone succeeded in installing quartus 9.0 on Fedora 11 ? Everytime I launch quartus, it fails like this $./bin/quartus Aborted Any clue how I can fix this ?
Honored ContributorWorking well on Ubuntu 9.04. Did you setup all the environment? Specifically, did you setup 64-bit or 32-bit version and windows manager?
Honored ContributorIf you can't get any help with this there is another option of installing VirtualBox and running CentOS 5 in a sandbox. Fedora is pretty much always on the bleeding edge so I stay one version behind on general principal :) .

Honored Contributori've been hearing more software incompatibilities with Fedora 11. it might be wise to stick with 10 for now.
Honored Contributormaybe a single thread where people list unsupported Linux distro experiences using Quartus II and ModelSim-AE is appropriate. there are various threads with work arounds that should also be in a central locaiton.
