Programing a Stratix10 FPGA

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am trying to program a Stratix10 FPGA and downloaded the Quartus software to do so. I also already installed all acceleration stack tools needed to communicate with the FPGA via a PCIe bus. The only thing I need now is a license to generate a bitstream file in Quartus that I can then pass to my device. I am a bit confused about how to get this license. I am a student and need to use the FPGA for my master thesis (I also enroled in the FPGA academic program you offer). I would be very thankfull if you could tell me how I can get access to the license or a kind of test license :).

I am very new to the FPGA world so sorry if I am asking stupid questions.

    Hey,
thanks for the quick response. I know about the licensing center. However, I think it is supper unclear where to download a Stratix 10 license. The automatic assistent also was not helpful. My situation is the following: I am a master student and for my thesis I need to use a researchs center's PAC D5005 FPGA. But they do not have a license for me. So I want to get a Stratix10 license from you if possible. So in the licensing center I cannot enter a purchase code or any other kind of ID.
I would be very very glad if you could give me some kind of more detailed description how to get it, other than just the link to the licensing center. Thanks a lot!

    Cheers,
    Jan

There is no license specific for Stratix 10.

Only license for Quartus version you are using.

For Stratix 10, you need to purchase the license for Quartus Prime Pro Edition. Cost around USD2500.

You may contact your local Altera Distributors to purchase the license. link : https://www.altera.com/contact
