Power consumption of device configuration

Hello,

I need to know how much power is needed to configure an FPGA. I can't find any doc about this, so I want to use a 1k resistor connected to VCCint and measure voltage. But maybe you know more accurate way, or you know any documentation? I use Cyclone III EP3C25F256C8 and passive serial mode.

thanks,

Sz.

It's an unusual problem, I guess you have to measure it yourself. An 1k series resistor may involve a too large voltage drop during startup and possibly prevent the initialisation. I suggest to use reasonable resitance values for current measurement and as sensitive voltmeter. You can refer to some Dev. Kits that have a power supply current measurement implemented.
