Plug in Arria10 GX Development board into a Desktop CPU

Hello,

We have purchased an Intel Arria 10 GX Devkit - DK-DEV-10AX115S-A.

Q1) I was wondering if it would be possible to hook this board into a Desktop CPU, and continue our testing. Has this been done in the past?

Q2) Also I would like to know if Intel offers any protective case for this development kit?
