PGM Error (Expected JTAG ID code 0x8341A0DD for device 1, but found JTAG ID code 0xC341A0DD)

Hi,

I'm using AGFB014R24B2E2V board and qpro21.1. The device setting is correctly selected.

After compilation and sof is generated, I use quartus_pfg to add a bootloader into it.

When i use programmer to write the sof through jtag to board, programmer shows 0% falied.

Error message is:

Error(18952): Error status: The device chain in Programmer does not match physical device chain. Expected JTAG ID code 0x8341A0DD for device 1, but found JTAG ID code 0xC341A0DD.
Error(209012): Operation failed

I run jtagconfig, shows,

questions is,

1. this jtagconfig snapshot shows the jtag expect 24(A|B);

2. programmer auto detect shows

3. sof expect device is 24B

4. if i use programmer which is included in qpro22.1 kit, the program process can be successfully comleted.

how can i resolve this? thank you!

    Hi,


    Please proceed to use Quartus pro 22.1 as there is no error while programming and we always recommend customers to use latest quartus version if the older quartus is showing problem.

    Indeed that issue encounted before. That issue can be easily solved.

    This headache issue is that I can use qpro 22.1 programmer download sof into board, while the qpro21.1 programmer cannot.

    Hi,


    Was the steps used to program for using both Quartus were the same? Any changes made?

    When you auto detect in Quartus 21.1, what does it show?

    In qpro21.1 programmer, after click auto detect,

    In qpro21.1 programmer, after click auto detect, a window pop up shows,

    after select 24B,

    You can see that in file list, qpro21.1 shows the device is 24(A|B), while qpro22.1 shows 24B.

      sry I made a typo mistake. The first one is 21.1, the second one is 22.1.
