New ContributorNot able to identify Cyclone IV with Quartus2 on Windows11
Hello together,
meanwhile I have a Windows 11 Home 23H2 notebook and after long time I would like to play a little with my Terasic DE0_Nano board which contains a Altera Cyclone® IV EP4CE22F17C6N.
The DE0_Nano has an onboard programmer (USB-Blaster), however when I have installed either ...
- Quartus-lite-18.1.0.625-windows
- QuartusLiteSetup-23.1std.1.993-windows
Quartus hang up and give no response anymore or I get no checksum. After some searching in the web, I have seen that USB-Blaster isn't supported by Windows11. Does anybody can provide me a valid statement, wehter DE0_Nano and onboard USB-Blaster are working for instance with QuartusLiteSetup-23.1 or newer?
23.1 should work fine in Windows 11. You should try reinstalling Quartus or just the USB Blaster drivers.
Are you saying it crashes/freezes when you start the Quartus Programmer? More details on exactly what is happening.
