i am not getting the option for selecting EP2S30F672C3 as the device in the quartus. Is Stratix 2 the family name of the device . Actually i am not getting that option in the device family dropdown list.

The Stratix II was last supported in Quartus Web edition 11.0sp1 (free) or Quartus Subscription edition 13.0sp1 (licence required). If you have a newer version, you won't find it. (p.s. to Altera, there is no link on the Quartus download page to here: http://dl.altera.com/devices/ so how is anyone supposed to realise the above easily).Honored Contributor12.1 version

Download and install the file "12.1_devices_stratix_hardcopy_i_to_iv_windows.exe" from: https://wl.altera.com/download/software/quartus-ii-se/12.1
