Migrating from cyclone-1 to newer cyclone

Hi

In an old design I have got the task to revoke and redo there is used an old Cyclone device, EP2C8AQ208. I have got input that I could use the EP2C8Q208C7N or EP2C8Q208C8N as replacement but these are Cyclone 2 devices and not recomended for new designs according to Altera, i.e, in a year or two these old FPGAs will be hard to find as-well. Are there any "migration-table" available for which FPGA to use for redesign ?

    Look at the smallest Cyclone IV or Cyclone V devices. They should be perfect for an old Cyclone II project.
