MAXPLUS II download for programming Altera 7000 device

:(:(I just need to configure a device on our product. The device cfg appears to be corrupt or empty, there is a 10pin connector that can be used for downloading the cfg using a byteblaster. I'm haing...

JTAG programmable MAX7000 devices, e.g. MAX7000S series are supported up to recent Quartus versions and by Altera stand alone programmer (ASAP2). Why do you want to use MAXPLUS2?

MAXPLUS2 doesn't support USB programmoing cables, the MAXPLUS Byte Blaster driver most likely doesn't work with new Windows versions.
