MAX7000/S product status

I'm getting conflicting reports from part suppliers - are the MAX7000 and MAX7000S series of CPLDs still active products?

    Well ... check the following Intel PDN's (Product Discontinuance Notices):

    PDN1619 issued 12/1/2016 obsoletes MAX7000/MAX7000B/MAX7000S as of 12/1/2017
    PDN1709 issued 06/1/2017 obsoletes MAX3000A as of 09/1/2018
    PDN2041 issued 12/4/2020 obsoletes MAX7000A as of 12/6/2021

    By the way, Intel if you are listening, it would be REALLY USEFUL if you had a web page where I could just type in a part number (like EPM7032, EPM7032QC44, EPM7032QC44-15) or a family number (like MAX7000) and it would tell me the status of the part(s) (ACTIVE or NotRecommended or EOL) and any relevant PDN.

    Right now you have to go the the PDN page, and manually search thru PDN PDFs to see if a part number can be found. If it is then you can read the PDF and see if it has been EOLed. If it is not found it is probably still ACTIVE, but maybe not.

    Something like this web page would REALLY be a great service to your customers. Just sayin'.
