MAX10/DE10-Lite accelerometer connection

Question

Good morning,

I would like to know if the I2C connection between the MAX10 and the accelerometer (ADXL345B) in the DE10-Lite board is implemented with additional series resistors for shortcircuit protection or only with the standard pull-up resistors. I have tried to figure out looking at the PCB, but it is not so simple.

The reason is that I am evaluating the board for being used in my classes and I want to know the degree of freedom I can reach with my students.
