Honored ContributorMAX EPM9400 - how to extract configuration / how to write configuration
Hi to all, I am a newbe to world of CPLD/FPGAs and hope for some direction to how-to guides or direct instructions, including tools that may be necessary.
I want to extract the configuration of an existing programmed device, save that file. And then re-program another device with that saved configuration. Both devices are MAX EPM9400RC208, and are both already soldered onto their PCBs Thanks and best regards seandeg2 Replies
Altera_ForumIt can be readout through JTAG if the security bit isn't set.
As far as I'm aware of, MAX9000 hasn't been supported in any Quartus version. See also http://www.altera.com/support/devices/tools/altera/software/tls-altera-software.html Industry standard JTAG tools that are aware of the MAX9000 ISP JTAG codes can also program the devices.- Altera_Forum
