MAX 10 VC suffix - any differences in functionality?
Hi all!
There is a new offer from the market for MAX10 FPGA, but with VC suffix, which means
| C | Device shipped in a carrier |
| V | 5.0-V tolerant inputs |
Is there a difference in functionality between chips with and without these suffixes?
I mean, timing parameters, any board design considerations, and so on.
And what does it mean - "Device shipped in a carrier"?

OPN is the part number but that is okay I do not think we need that for your inquiry. The suffixes explain certain device features as you mentioned above. Apart from that it is the same as the part that does not have these features. Hope this answer your question!

Well, as about carrier as I understand it means a form of shipping similar to the one described here : https://www.intel.cn/content/dam/altera-www/global/zh_CN/pdfs/literature/an/an071.pdf
The question remains is, "Do the 5.0V tolerant inputs affect the I/O timing parameters or not?" and why there is no information about that in MAX 10 datasheet?
