Looking for Power Supply Supervisor Solution for Agilex-5 SoC (A5EDxxx) with Tight Voltage Tolerance
Hello,
I am working on a design using an Intel Agilex-5 SoC (A5EDxxx) and need to implement supervision of multiple power rails with the following requirements:
- Rails to monitor (with SoC tolerances):
- 0.8 V ±3%
- 1 V ±2.5%
- 1.1 V ±3%
- 1.2 V ±5%
- 1.8 V ±2.5%
- 3.3 V ±3%
- DC/DC or LDO output voltage accuracy: typically ±1%
- Goal: Minimize the number of different supervisor references (prefer adjustable threshold supervisors)
- Constraints: Must account for resistor divider tolerance (for adjustable thresholds) and hysteresis level
- Challenge: I cannot find a reference of supervisor that meets all these constraints, especially for fine tolerances.
What is the recommended supervision architecture for processors (like Agilex-5) with increasingly tight power supply tolerances?
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
David

Hi,
You may refer to our Agilex 5 Modular development kit board implementation (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/820977/current/power.html)

Hi,
We do not have the information on the power supply supervision but if you refer to the schematic, it will provide the information on the regular power supply used with the FPGA device.
