New ContributorIssue to create .Jic file in quartus16.1 for the S25FL128SAGNFI001 flash
Hi,
We are using S25FL128SAGNFI001 flash in our customized Board. This board has a Cyclone V device along with "S25FL128SAGNFI001" flash. After generating SOF file we need to generate .Jic file to run the board on the field with the permanent file. Here In Quartus 16.1 this particular IC is not available in Configure device Menu. So here we need help to Add this device part no. in the tool. Please help us as soon as possible, we are stuck with production launch due to this. Below I have attached an image file to show the path where we are checking our device "S25FL128SAGNFI001" flash in tool.

Thank you for contacting Intel community.
S25FL128SAGNFI001 is not there because it is a 3rd party flash, hence you will need to use .rpd file which cannot be used by Quartus since it is 3rd party flash.
However, we would advice you to follow Intel Customizable Flash Programmer Userguide to program the .rpd file into 3rd party flash devices.
