Inputs have current strength field in pin planner tool -- does it matter?

In the Quartus Pin Planner ​ tool the Node Name list has a column Current Strength that has an entry 8mA (default) for Input pins.  Does that matter?  What is the default pullup state for inputs if not specified?

For default I/O setting,you need to refer the respective device handbook.
