In_built A/D capability for device

Dear,

Kindly clarify like that of Vertex 5 under DSP capability device is having 16 channel A/D (12-bit) any ALTERA device is having such capability. There is device called Turbo Codec in Stratix II device, is it having same fucntionality of A/D ??

    THe Virtex 5 devices do not have any channels of A/D input, but perhaps you have seen a reference design that utilizes external 12 bit A/D's and is then inputed into the FPGA and the data is operated on byt the DSP blocks in the V5.

    The Altera Stratix II family has similar functionality as well.
