Honored ContributorTHe Virtex 5 devices do not have any channels of A/D input, but perhaps you have seen a reference design that utilizes external 12 bit A/D's and is then inputed into the FPGA and the data is operated on byt the DSP blocks in the V5.
The Altera Stratix II family has similar functionality as well. Good luck, and keep learning.
