Important: How to maximize the power of the Cyclone II FPGA?

Hi,

I am a little bit new to FPGA and especially the new development board I have got(Cyclone II EP2C20 FPGA).

I have tested the advanced examples described in the manual. I wanne know how I can use the maximum power (/current) of the FPGA ? or there modules to download in the Altera website for instance? or any other Idea?

    what are you trying to do by maximizing the power?

    have you taken a look at the Early Power Estimator Excel sheets? they will give you an idea of how to maximize your power consumption
