How to generate .jbc file from command line?

I'd like to be able to use a command line to convert a .cdf file to a Jam Byte Code (.jbc) file in the same way as described in chapter 14 of the max ii device handbook (http://www.altera.com/literat...

Automatic generation of *.jam or *.jbc files can be selected in device options.
