High-Z in the Cyclone family

Hello,

In my design of Cyclone IV, when I define an output in High-Z state and at the same time I pull this output to VCC/GND with a small resistor of ,say, 100ohm.

Will this action somehow damage the output stage of the Cyclone?

How high is the High-Z state in the Cyclone family?

Thank you,

Boris.

will not be damaged, even if you connect the high-z pin directly to power(io) or ground.

high-z is often used as an input state for a bidir pins.
