GE Hitachi- SWISS BANNED Substance + ROHS and REACH Request<178664>INTEL CORP

Dear All,

Greetings!!!

We are contacting you on behalf of our mutual client, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy. GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy has engaged S&P Global Engineering Solutions (formerly IHS Markit) to collect Swiss Banned Substances (for Electronics; OORChem), EU RoHS, EU REACH SVHC, Swiss SVHC and FMD data on their behalf. The information you provide will help to ensure our ability to support GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy to comply with various Environmental regulations.

Please find the attached authorization letter from GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy and our Excel data collection file which contains the part numbers that GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy has procured from your company or authorized distributors. Please acknowledge this e-mail and return the attached spreadsheet with requested information within 2 weeks from receipt of this e-mail.

The information requested, includes but is not limited to:

  • Swiss Banned Substance - (Y/N)
  • Swiss Banned Substance - Version/Date
  • Swiss SVHC Version
  • Presence of Swiss SVHC (Y/N)
  • Swiss SVHC Declaration Document
  • REACH SVHC (Y/N)
  • REACH SVHC Candidate List
  • REACH Declaration Document
  • RoHS (Y/N)
  • RoHS version
  • RoHS exemptions
  • RoHS Compliant replacement
  • RoHS CoC Document
  • Part status

    Dear SMude,


    All these are aged Classic & MAX5000 part numbers, we have no MDDS report setup in the past as all of them are obsoleted in year 1993, 2008 & 2009 respectively.

    As a result, we are not able to provide those information request by GE Hitachi in attached excel.
