GDB ERROR: Error starting GDB server.

Hi,

I just installed Quartus II, Nios II, modelsim and the Altera Monitor Program. I have created a project but when I choose "compile and load" I get this error message:

GDB ERROR: Error starting GDB server. (java.lang.NullPointerException)

I really don't know what this means. Any advice is appreciated.
