4 years agoFPGA replacement PNs for competitors device
Hi,
In some of our designs we are currently using Xilinx devices. The lead times are too long. We are looking at redesigning some of our products to use an alternate FPGA type.
What would be ...

4 years agoIf you go on any distributor website and check availability of Altera/Intel FPGA/CPLD devices you won't find any real difference from Xilinx. None in stock, 6+ month lead times. Pretty much across the board all semiconductor devices are severely supply constrained.
For Spartan 6, an Intel/Altera Cyclone IV or V is probably the closest equivalent.
