Honored ContributorSo I tried to create an other user and install Quartus Web edition there, alas, no result. Soooooooo, exceeded by a crappy piece of software (I know its not terrible, I'm just tired of not knowing why it doesn't work) I installed Quartus back in a fresh VM and I made a snapshot of it. Not ideal but it work. If the problem occurs again, I can revert back to a previous edition of Quartus web edition without asking too many questions. I know a previous thread had the same problem and it had 8000 views with no answers.
Right now I do not have the enough knowledge of Quartus (or time) to pinpoint the problem, sadly. I think it would be a fun test to upgrade to a subscription to see if it's really license related but unfortunately, a poor student such as I will have to wait. It seem to be quite a uncommon problem and I believe (hopefully, I am wrong) that a software dev from Quartus would be the only one able to fix it. Right now I do not have a solution but if someone wish for me to test stuff on the faulty software, I will not be uninstalling it right away. So, if you have an idea, feel free to contact me. P.
