Encryption for Cyclone IVE FPGA

Hi,

I am wondering if the Cyclone IVE (like the EP4CE6E22) has the capability for encryption (i.e. design security key) in its programming file? It looks like Only Stratix II/III and Arria II FPGA's support it.

Is there a license that I would need to get for Quartus so that it can do this?

If not, are there any suggestions/documents I can read on how to encrypt a bitstream for Altera FPGA's?

Thanks,

rcg

No, the Cyclone IV E doesn't support it.

The Cyclone III LS series has it, though.

Is there any app notes/docs I can read on bitstream encryption for Altera FPGA's? Is there a way to do it with Quartus software when the FPGA does not have 128 AES encryption support?

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks,
