download quartus V10.0

I need to upgrade my windows Quartus install. Currently V9.0...need V10.0

Don't want to go thru the Download Manager, Installer. Just want the .exe file from their ftp site. When I go that route, all I see available is "10.0sp1_quartus_windows.exe". I thought that this might contain Quartus V10.0 plus Service Pack 1. When I run this, it wants an installation of V10 to install the Service Pack into.

Does anybody know if the above file just contains the Service Pack? If so, anybody know where the V10.0 .exe is on the website (without going thru the Download Manager/Installer)?

I've asked the local rep and he's travelling today so won't have an answer until tomorrow.

    yes, the file mentioned is just the service pack. you can usually tell by the size. i think only the Web Edition Service Pack installs a full version + service pack, Subscription Edition Service Packs are normally a patch.

    if you go to the Download Center, and choose Quartus II Subscription Edition and 10.0 from the selector box, then scroll down to Individual Components, you can download the large single file installers using the web-based download manager. if that doesn't work for you, there are some instructions toward the bottom of the page that have plain link to the single file download

    using the Download Center looks like it uses Akamai links, it should be faster than the FTP
