Does Altera Quartus II works for measurement of energy, size of chip and Speed?

Hello friends, sorry for this question, maybe looks too simple, but I'm learning to use Quartus II for doing a project of computer architecture for my bachelor degree. Basicaly I want to propose a parallel architecture for making better Image segmentation (of brain IMR), i'm guessing the best way to experiment with architectures is trough FPGA and Quartus II software. As a experimental methodology I would compare my architecture with recents paralell architectures to see if mine is somehow better (Speed, Size of Chip, Energy efficiency?).

I'm wondering if Quartus II by Altera contains tools for making this measurement over my design? or do I have to use another methodology or tools. Please let me know your opinion.

Also please forgive my poor english.

you will need to design each case separately, run compilation and check results directly. you can check resource/speed/power from fitter report

    Hi,

You can also use the EPE or powerplay analyzer to check the power consumption of your design.
